Make the most of our Tocha Trio with this recipe for dusted corn 3 ways. Each juicy combo is bursting with flavour so try them all and find your favourite!

Ingredients

VERDE:

  • 1 ear of sweet corn
  • 2-3 tbsp Tocha Verde
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • 1 tsp Tajin seasoning


YUZU:

  • 1 ear of sweet corn
  • 2 tbsp Tocha Yuzu
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 handful wasabi peas - finely crushed


ORIGINAL:

  • 1 ear of sweet corn
  • 2 tbsp Tocha Original
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • 1 small handful of crispy onion flakes - crushed
  • Zest of 1 lime - finely grated
  • Peel the corn husks and silk, then cut in half
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and submerge the corn for around 5 mins, or until tender and vibrant
  • Remove the corn and set aside on kitchen towel
  • Heat the neutral oil in a skillet or griddle pan, on medium high
  • Baste the first 2 corn halves with Tocha Verde and sear in the hot pan, continue basting and turning regularly until all sides are charred
  • Sprinkle a layer of Tajin on a plate and roll the grilled corn through to coat evenly
  • Baste the next corn halves with Tocha Yuzu and sear as above
  • Sprinkle the crushed wasabi on a plate and roll the grilled corn through to coat evenly
  • Baste the final corn halves with Tocha Original and sear as above
  • Sprinkle the crushed onion and lime zest on a plate and roll the grilled corn through to coat evenly
